Visit to the Rosola Dairy
The Rosola Dairy was founded in 1966 as a Agricultural Cooperative Society, by the will of the farmers residing in the homonymous district of the municipality of Zocca.
Today we are five partners, and we continue to pursue the same goals as our fathers and grandfathers, trying to enhance our origins. This is why, in 2005, the dairy began producing Parmigiano Reggiano from the Modenese White Cow, an endangered breed, whose strength lies in its milk, known for its excellent nutritional properties
In the same year, the dairy joined the world of Slow Food, obtaining the presidium, and in this way, it became known throughout the peninsula and beyond. The Modenese White Cow produces milk particularly suited for the transformation into Parmigiano Reggiano and cheese-making in general. Our cheese is also Parmigiano Reggiano from the Mountains
"The need to combine the artisanal aspect of production with new lifestyles and commercial demands led us to create our own website and an online shop, which allows us to sell our products worldwide. Our Parmigiano and other products, such as our famous Modenese White ricotta, can be purchased at our shop or through our home delivery service.
